What are red mosquito larvae (Chironomidae)?
Small insect larvae found in fresh water
Natural food for many fish species
High protein content
Freeze-dried to eliminate parasites and increase shelf life

Add a small amount as variation 1-3 times a week
Use as a supplement to complete feed (e.g. flakes or granules)
Avoid overfeeding – it is very nutritious

Not suitable as sole feed
Can cause constipation in herbivores if consumed in excess
Water quality can be affected by overdose
