What is Gammarus?
Small fresh and brackish water crustaceans, also called ""freshwater shrimp""
Rich in natural proteins, chitin (dietary fiber) and micronutrients
A natural part of the diet for many animals in and around aquatic environments
Advantages:
Can be appetizing
High content of animal protein
Good source of calcium (from exoskeleton), which is important for e.g. turtles
Can promote natural behavior in fish and reptiles
Practical and long-lasting
Suitable for:
Aquatic and land turtles
Large aquarium fish (e.g. cichlids, arowana, koi)

Birds (as an additional source of protein)
Reptiles and amphibians in terrariums
