In Splatsville and the sun-drenched Splatlands, players can engage in ink-filled battles with other Inklings and Octolings, and discover features, weapons, and the trendiest gear of the season.
In Splatoon 3, the Turf War Online* mode brings a colorful spectacle to both new and familiar stages, where teams of four compete to cover as much ground as possible with their ink. New footage has given a sneak peek at one of the new stages, Trout Viaduct. There’s also footage of the Spanner, a new bow-shaped weapon type that players can use to shoot ink both vertically and horizontally. The new trailer, Splatoon 3 Extended Turf War Gameplay Footage (Nintendo Switch), shows off all of this footage, as well as some new gear and information.
In addition to the crazy four-on-four multiplayer battles, Splatoon 3 also features a fresh single-player campaign and a new version of the Salmon Run co-op mode. In the single-player story mode, players take control of Agent 3 as they battle the unruly Octarians and discover the secrets of Alterna and the Fluid Coat.
In Salmon Run mode, players can team up with others to try and defeat waves of dangerous Salmonid bosses, some of which are truly gigantic.
