The Revopoint POP 4 3D Scanner Premium Version is a professional 3D scanning solution supporting handheld and desktop operation. It combines blue multi-line laser, infrared structured light, and VCSEL projection technologies for flexible scanning of objects from 10 Ă— 10 Ă— 10 mm up to 2 Ă— 2 Ă— 2 m. The scanner delivers accuracy up to 0.03 mm, RGB color capture, AI-based background removal, and Gaussian Splatting support for photorealistic models. With Wi-Fi 6, USB-C connectivity, and compatibility with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, it is suitable for reverse engineering, product design, quality control, digitization, and 3D printing workflows.
In laser mode, the scanner achieves accuracy of up to 0.03 mm with point cloud spacing down to 0.05 mm, allowing detailed capture of mechanical components, technical parts, and complex surfaces. The volumetric accuracy of 0.03 mm + 0.05 mm Ă— L(m) is available when using laser scanning modes. Full-Field HD mode is optimized for faces, figures, and general objects, while VCSEL projection provides a wider scanning range for larger objects and outdoor use.
The integrated RGB camera enables color scanning, while Real-Time AI Segmentation automatically identifies the scanned object and removes backgrounds, surfaces, and hands from the captured data. Support for Gaussian Splatting allows the creation of highly detailed and realistic 3D models with improved representation of textures, reflections, and transparent or complex materials.
The POP 4 captures up to 105 frames per second depending on the selected mode. Laser scanning supports up to 2 million points per second, while Full-Field mode can capture up to 5 million points per second for faster digitization of larger objects. The scanner can also handle many dark and shiny surfaces without requiring matte spray, although transparent and highly reflective materials may still require preparation.
The device supports indoor and outdoor scanning, with VCSEL technology designed for operation in ambient light conditions up to 100,000 lux. With optional Outdoor Blue Filters, laser scanning can also be used in brighter environments while maintaining detailed capture.
Revo Scan 6 software enables editing and exporting scanned models in STL, OBJ, PLY, FBX, GLTF, 3MF, ASC, and SPLAT formats. The Premium Version includes additional accessories such as a battery-powered handle, carrying case, and magnetic Outdoor Blue Filters, making the scanner suitable for mobile scanning projects, reverse engineering, product development, quality control, and professional 3D printing workflows.
