This rechargeable Nedis SmartLife 4MP Quad HD Wi-Fi outdoor camera allows you to see what's happening around your house, whether there's an imminent threat or you just want to feel completely safe. The camera comes with total flexibility thanks to the rechargeable battery and the option to add an optional solar panel to suit your needs.
Due to its waterproof housing (IP66), the smart camera is protected against water and can therefore be mounted on an external facade. The camera can be connected to your existing Wi-Fi network to monitor your house or garden and record any sound or movement, whether you're at home or on the go. The Nedis SmartLife app notifies you in case of movement, so you can take action in time.

Battery-powered
Once the camera is charged, you're ready to use it as a security camera. Depending on the number of recordings, it can last 6 to 8 months on a single charge. On average, when it records 20 events per day, the battery lasts up to 2.5 months. However, in combination with a solar panel, the battery is constantly charged if the sun is shining and there is no need to take the wireless camera off again.

Quad HD resolution
You can keep an eye on and react to everything you see in real time via the Nedis SmartLife app. Due to the 120° field of view, you have a wide-angle field of view to keep an eye on your belongings. Thanks to the micro SD slot, you can store recordings on a micro SD card up to 128 GB (not included). It records in Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) for complete clarity of the recorded images. There is also the option to save the video material in our app via a cloud solution (subscription-based).

Responds to motion
The camera reacts to movement, so when someone passes the Wi-Fi camera within the 120-degree field of view, it reacts. Thanks to AI Human Motion Detection, it analyses people's shapes, so you can set it to only detect human movements and save yourself unnecessary alarms. If you want, it will automatically start recording and you will also receive a push notification on your smartphone. The notifications appear as pop-up messages on your smartphone without you having to open the app. This means that you are informed immediately and can respond very quickly. The multi-user function even allows several people to access the camera at the same time.

Night vision
The camera sees clearly even at night thanks to the color night vision function, which offers a range of approx. 10.0 meters. The camera also has a 45-lumen bright white floodlight, which helps you see important features such as faces or license plates in full color, even at night.

Two-way communication
The Wi-Fi camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker. Two-way audio communication works perfectly for talking to someone who is near the camera, so you can communicate even when you are not at home. The camera also supports an alarm and siren function to deter intruders.

Easy to set up
The Wi-Fi camera can be installed without a gateway and integrated directly into your wireless network – this simplifies installation and saves additional costs. The camera is powered by rechargeable batteries or can be charged through an optional solar panel. You can therefore mount the Wi-Fi camera anywhere, even in places where there is no power outlet nearby. A bracket is included for the camera so that it can be mounted on the walls of your house.
