The Mio MiVue Smartbox is a smart and small device that powers the camera in the car, even after the engine is switched off.
The biggest disadvantage of most car cameras on the market is the built-in battery with a small capacity, which will ensure the camera will run for a maximum of a few tens of minutes without power. Mio MiVue Smartbox solves this problem in a very simple and smart way.
The Mio MiVue Smartbox connects directly to the car's electrical system. So even if you turn off the engine, your camera will still be powered on. It is an ideal solution for all users who want to use the full parking mode when they are not in the car.
Parking mode is a unique feature of Mio MiVue cameras. It’s use in selected models allows video recording in situations where movement in front of the camera or sudden impact is detected. Parking mode is a system that starts recording only based on the user's specific settings (the degree of intensity of impact and object movement area). Recordings made in this way are stored on a memory card in a special folder. However, the Mio MiVue Smartbox is also an intelligent device that monitors the power status, and if there is a risk of the car's starter battery voltage falling below a defined level, the camera's power will be interrupted.
Mio MiVue Smartbox can be used in cars with 12 and trucks 24V power supply.
In addition, you can set the power time to 12, 24 hours or unlimited.
