Mittlerer Rippenreibe mit Zweirichtungsschneider aus der Master-Serie von Microplane in Edelstahl und mit Griffen aus Walnussholz. Geeignet für z.B. Käse, Schokolade, Zwiebeln, Äpfel, Karotten und Kohl. Ursprünglich produzierte Microplane Holzasche für Zimmerleute und Tischler. Aber eines Tages im Jahr 1994 musste eine kanadische Hausfrau Orangenkuchen machen. Frustriert über ihre Reibe nahm sie stattdessen die hölzerne Reibe des Mannes und entdeckte, dass es die perfekte Reibe war.
The combination of the handle, a robust stainless steel frame and the razor-sharp, photo- etched stainless steel blade - made in USA - enables anytime optimal grating result and are the new status quo for grating. The Ribbon blade produces a fine, elongated grating result. Grate soft and hard cheeses, apples, potatoes, zucchini, carrots, chocolate and much more. Through the sharpness of the blade, the citurs is precisely grated and not torn. Flavor unfolds and the taste is enhanced. Five blades variations: Zester, Fine, Coarse, Ribbon and Extra Coarse are available in this series.
