Der LevelOne GEL-1061 ist ein intelligenter 10-Port L2 Managed Gigabit-Switch mit 8 RJ45-Ports und 2 SFP-Glasfaser-Steckplätzen, der für Unternehmens- oder große Arbeitsgruppen-Konnektivitätsanwendungen mit nicht blockierender, drahtgebundener Switching-Leistung und erweiterten Netzwerkverwaltungsfunktionen entwickelt wurde.
Der Switch unterstützt eine flexible webbasierte Verwaltungsschnittstelle für IPv4 und IPv6 sowie Konsolen-, SNMP- und Telnet-Verwaltungszugriff. Trotz seines erschwinglichen Preises ist der GEL-1061 mit vielen fortschrittlichen Funktionen ausgestattet, wie z. B. Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) Snooping, Port-/MAC-/tag-basiertes VLAN, IEEE 802.1d/w/s Spanning Tree, Access Control List (ACL), Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), IEEE 802.1p QoS, Storm Control zum Schutz vor Broadcast/Multicast/Unknown Unicast und vieles mehr.
