Die ThinkSystem 440-8i und 440-16i SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBAs sind hochleistungsfähige PCIe 4.0 Host-Bus-Adapter für die interne Speicherkonnektivität in ThinkSystem Servern. Die Adapter integrieren die neueste SAS-Technologie und bieten 8 oder 16 Lanes mit 12 Gbit/s SAS. Die Adapter sind in zwei Formfaktoren erhältlich: Low-Profile-PCIe und ein kundenspezifisches Formfaktordesign. Der Adapter im kundenspezifischen Design ist an einen Onboard-PCIe-4.0-x8-Port des Servers angeschlossen und belegt keinen Standard-PCIe-Steckplatz.
