Low light and the “Leica look”
Ace Pro 2 handles dim scenes with steady detail and controlled noise. The 1/1.3" sensor gathers more light than typical action cams in this size, and the camera’s nighttime processing keeps motion natural instead of smeared. Faces stay readable, skies hold color, and fine textures—like hair, fabric or wet pavement—remain visible without harsh sharpening.
Leica’s input shows up in the way images render. The Summarit lens gives a wide, even field with clean edges, while Leica-tuned color aims for neutral skin tones and balanced contrast. Highlights roll off smoothly so bright signs and streetlights don’t clip too hard, and shadow areas keep shape for an image that grades easily.
The camera uses a 1/1.3" sensor and a wide lens with a 157° field of view. It can shoot photos in RAW or JPEG and supports high frame rates for slow motion in 4K and 1080p. The flip touchscreen makes menus and framing simple, and there is a small front screen for status. You can control the camera from a phone app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and there are quick capture options, voice control and gesture control.
It is waterproof down to 12 meters without extra housing. With an optional dive case it can go deeper. The operating range is from cold winter days to warm summer conditions. The battery is 1800 mAh and supports fast charging with a compatible charger. The camera can also reverse-charge other devices in a pinch. A USB-C port is used for charging and transfer. Video files are saved as MP4 using H.264 or H.265. A V30 or faster microSD card is recommended, up to 1 TB.
