Die SmartHBA Serie 2100 ist in drei unterschiedlichen Ausführungen mit 12 Gbps und mit bis zu 24 Ports erhältlich. Sie vereint auf besondere Weise die Möglichkeiten eines mit allen Funktionen ausgestatteten Host-Bus-Adapters (HBA) - wie beispielsweise des HBA 1100 - mit denen eines Hardware-RAIDAdapters. Dank einer optimalen Kombination von Zuverlässigkeit, Effizienz und Benutzerfreundlichkeit bieten diese Adapter eine spürbare Entlastung des Hosts durch robustes Hardware-RAID. Es besteht auch Kompatibilität mit Open Source-Treibern. Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist ein Komplettpaket von Speicherverwaltungstools. Die SmartHBA Serie 2100 bietet Flexibilität für interne und externe Anschlüsse im Low-Profile/MD2-Formfaktor.
