A soaker hose is a water hose that has a lot of small fine holes where the water can slowly penetrate. The hose is laid out in the garden bed, and water seeps out in small quantities to water as needed.
It ensures minimal water waste and is a huge help when you have planted hedges, which need a lot of water in the first 3-4 weeks after planting.
The water flow and pressure are reduced to the ideal working pressure of 1-2 bar, as the water will then effectively seep out. Used for flat garden beds – not suitable on slopes.
