Das Modell 5051 wird mit einem 200 cm Signalkabel und einem vormontierten, fertig installierbaren 75 cm Feuchtigkeitskabel geliefert. Das Feuchtigkeitskabel besteht aus zwei starken Kupferleitern mit einer Dicke von 0,813 mm, während die Hülle und Füllstoffe aus nicht absorbierenden synthetischen Materialien bestehen, die auch bei wiederholtem Kontakt mit Wasser eine außergewöhnlich lange Lebensdauer bieten. Das Ergebnis ist ein Sensor, der bei direktem Kontakt mit Wasser hochwirksam ist, aber tolerant gegenüber Kondensation ist. Er sollte in Bereichen platziert werden, wo eine effiziente Leckageerkennung gewünscht wird - wie in der Nähe von Verteilerrohren, Kabelkanälen oder Installationschächten sowie technischen Räumen und in der Nähe von Computerinstallationen oder ähnlichen Standorten.
