Universelle Edge-Switch-Plattform
Die Serie 5420 ist eine Familie von leistungsstarken, funktionsreichen, stapelbaren Edge-Switches
die für das digitale Unternehmen der nächsten Generation entwickelt wurden. Erhältlich in 24- und 48-Port
Modelle erhältlich, bietet der 5420 sowohl Gigabit- als auch Multi-Gigabit- (1/2,5G) Versionen mit
mit bis zu 90 W PoE, so dass er in einer Reihe von Edge- und Kabelverzweiger-Umgebungen eingesetzt werden kann. Als universelle Hardware-Plattform bietet der 5420 auch eine vom Benutzer wählbare Auswahl an Extreme's Flaggschiff-Switch-Betriebssystemen für eine einzigartig
flexible Plattform.
Die 5420-Serie besteht aus 5420M- und 5420F-Familien, um eine Vielzahl von Endbenutzer
Endbenutzeranforderungen und Preispunkte ansprechen. Die 5420M-Modelle bieten vor Ort austauschbare Netzteile und
und Lüfter sowie vier integrierte 1/10/25Gb-Uplink-Ports, während die 5420F-Modelle eine feste
Stromversorgung (mit Unterstützung für ein zweites, vor Ort austauschbares Netzteil), feste Lüfter
und vier integrierte 1/10Gb-Uplink-Ports. Alle Modelle bieten 30/60/90W PoE-Funktionen
und sind damit ein ideales kabelgebundenes Backend für Wireless APs oder zur Unterstützung von Next Gen
Power-Ethernet-Geräte, wie digitale Beschilderung, Schwenk-Neige-Zoom-Kameras, intelligente
Beleuchtung oder Point-of-Sale-Terminals.
