Elma BM 829 has a lot of new smart functions as "Auto Check" and "Lov Z" and a IEC 61010-1 approval for CAT IV 1000V. Auto Check is an intelligent function, which automatically detects and choose AC voltage, DC voltage and continuity test/resistance. Everything you have to do is to turn on the instrument, and make a measurement. Low Z is voltage measurement with low impedance, which means that the measuring point will be loaded, and therefore you will asure that it is the real voltage that you are measuring. Elma BM 829 is equipped with a large backlighted double display and quick analog bargraph. The instrument measures true RMS AC+DC voltage, current, frequency, resistance, capacity, diods, continuity and temperature. Elma BM 829 has a lot of extra functions like 1ms crest/peak hold, max/min, relative measurement, data hold, auto shut-off, automatically/manual range selection and RS 232 port for PC-communication. The instrument has build-in non-contact detection of electrical fields, which can be used to detect electromagnetical fields from PC screens or as non-contact voltage detector. With PC-communication and Windows software (ordered separately), is it possible to make ONLine data logging. The measured results can be displayed as: Digital display, analog display, curve/graph and table. With the instrument connected to a PC data can be stored in intervals from 1 second to 1 hour. Elma BM 829 is UL listed and complies with IEC 61010-1 CAT IV 1000V. The instrument is equipped with high efficient fuses and is delivered incl. manual, temperature sensor (–50...250°C), battery, test leads and rubber protection.
