Die DIGITUS Kategorie 6 Klasse E Patchkabel werden hergestellt und getestet nach dem ISO/IEC 11801 und DIN EN 50173 CAT 6 Standard. Sie garantieren, dass die Kabelinstallation der ISO & EN Channel Spezifikation entspricht und bieten eine hervorragende Leistung in der DIGITUS CAT 6 Verkabelung. Die Leistung wurde bis 250 MHz getestet, inklusive Leistungseigenschaften wie beispielsweise dem Nahnebensprechen („NEXT“). Die DIGITUS Patchkabel wurden speziell entwickelt um allen Ansprüchen in den verschiedenen Anwendungsbereichen in vollem Umfang gerecht zu werden. Jedes Kabel ist mit einer angespritzten Knickschutztülle mit Zugentlastung ausgestattet. Außerdem besitzt die Tülle einen Rasthebelschutz, welcher das Verhaken der Kabel sowie das Abbrechen des Rasthebels vom Stecker verhindert. Eine einfache Identifizierung der Kategorie 6 wird durch die rote Einfärbung der Stecker ermöglicht.
