Ultrasonic attenuation
As the pump is suspended in the water, it works very quietly. It does not vibrate much against the tank walls and makes almost no noise.

Water level sensor
The pump is equipped with a sensor that detects when the water level is too low, as well as 2 LED lights (white when in operation and red when the water level is low). When the water level is too low, the fountain automatically shuts off to prevent the pump from running dry. When the water tank is full again, the fountain will resume its function.

Assembly and placement
It is very easy to mount the pump and place it inside the Catit PIXI Smart Fountain. As can be seen in the picture, the pump in the Catit PIXI fountain is suspended in the water. It is securely attached to the water lift pipe, preventing it from vibrating and making annoying noises.

Colored LED indicators
The pump has a water level sensor, which is very useful to prevent the cat from running out of water or the pump burning up. It is important to avoid starting the pump without water, as the rotor may overheat and stop working.

The pump also has LED indicators that flash red or white when the sensor detects that the water level is low. When the light is white, the fountain works properly and provides light at night so that both cats and people can easily find it. If there is a steady red light, it means the fountain is not working and has no water. If the red light flashes, it means there is some water left and it needs to be topped up.

Function
The PIXI Catit Pump works with a cable connected to a USB adapter, such as a mobile charger, and connected to electricity. It is a low energy consuming pump. The pump must be cleaned every 60 days maximum, where it must be disassembled and cleaned thoroughly.
