AlcoSense Breathalyser Ultra

AlcoSense Ultra is the first breathalyzer in the world to use the same professional 200mm fuel cell alcohol sensor found in the breathalyzers of several British, American and European police officers.

AlcoSense Ultra uses a professional quality sampling system to ensure that only deep lung air (the most accurate part of the breath) is measured by the sensor. It uses professional-quality sensors to measure air pressure, flow rate and breathing volume and takes a reading when 1 liter of air has exhaled, ensuring that the most accurate sample is always analyzed. To further improve accuracy, the readings are fine-tuned to temperature. These sensors also allow Ultra to use BlowCoach.

Most problems when making a blood alcohol level measurement with an breathalyzer are caused by the user either blowing too hard, too soft or not long enough, and with some products this can cause incorrect results. BlowCoach is a patent-pending technology from AlcoSense that makes it easy to perform a perfect test every time!

Ultra shows you on-screen messages in real time about how to blow. All you need to do is hold the upper pressure gauge in the center of the gauge and keep blowing until the lower volume gauge is full.

Each breathalyzer has an accuracy tolerance of +/- X.XX for the reading - the smaller the number, the more accurate the breathalyzer. AlcoSense Ultra has a smart software to avoid - that is, instead of having a tolerance of +/- 0.10 ‰ BAC, AlcoSense Ultra has a tolerance of +0.07 ‰ BAC, -0.00 ‰ BAC. This means that Ulta always reads the result as a little higher, than lower, to be on the safe side - the result is more than three times as accurate as the award-winning AlcoSense Elite.

With one click, AlcoSense Ultra works with any limit, anywhere in the world! Just select the country or region you are driving in from the menu and use AlcoSense's patented technology that complies with local law. The breathalyzer uses the limit and unit of measure where you are and uses blood conversion to enable accurate readings of either alcohol measurement in the blood or in the exhalation. AlcoSense Ultra has a full-color 1.8-inch (48 mm) TFT screen that provides clear and detailed readings of your alcohol level. You can choose reading of exhalation or blood (mg / L or µg / 100 ml) or blood (% BAC or ‰ BAC). If you are near or over your chosen limit, Ultra will warn you not to drive.

All breathalyzers require recalibration after a period of use. AlcoSense Ultra has an industry-leading calibration period of 12 months from the first time you use it. To improve reliability and ease of use, AlcoSense Ultra reminds you to recalibrate after 11 months of use.

If an breathalyzer is used under conditions that deviate from the meter's normal operating temperature, you may get incorrect readings. The temperature can affect the quality of the reaction inside the sensor. For your safety and protection, AlcoSense Ultra warns you if the device is used in temperatures that deviate from 5 ° C ~ 40 ° C. This means that, unlike competing brands, Ultra will never let you perform a test if the risk is available. an incorrect result.

Unlike competing brands, AlcoSense Ultra also protects you from errors caused by "Sensor Saturation". Sensor saturation can affect all breathalyzers, including police breathalyzers, and occurs when extremely high alcohol levels are blown directly into the sensor. This usually happens when a breath test is performed shortly after drinking alcohol, when there is still alcohol in the mouth. The sensor becomes overloaded, so-called "saturation" occurs. Readings taken after this may be unreliable until the sensor has been reset.
