Der TL-SM321B-2 von TP-LINK wurde gemäß dem Small Form Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (SFP-MSA) entwickelt. Als bidirektionaler optischer WDM-Transceiver verwendet TL-SM321B-2 einen integrierten optischen LC-bidirektionalen Schnittstellenanschluss, und die Datenverbindung beträgt bis zu 2 km in 9/125 μm SMF (Single-Mode-Faser).
Der TL-SM321B-2 enthält außerdem die DDM-Funktion (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring), die mit SFF-8472 kompatibel ist. DDM unterstützt die Echtzeitüberwachung des Transceivers und zeigt Parameter an, einschließlich des Transceiverstroms, der optische Leistung und Betriebstemperatur sendet / empfängt.
