Bone Conduction - music directly into the skull
Shokz Open Run Pro is unique with its groundbreaking and award-winning bone conduction technology, making Shokz the ultimate wireless Bluetooth headset for sports like running and cycling. The music is transmitted as vibrations through the cheekbones in front of the ear, allowing you to clearly and crisply hear the music inside your head while remaining aware of sounds from the surroundings and traffic.
The experience of music playing clearly inside the head while still being able to hear the surroundings can best be compared to being in a room with a SurroundSound system, where you can still have conversations with people around you.
The built-in microphone works in the same way by recording sound directly from the vibrations in the cheekbones. This provides a clean and undisturbed sound, even when you are moving quickly.
Even in strong headwinds, the sound is delivered clearly and played flawlessly inside the head. It's a special experience that can be tested by covering your ears with your hand while using the headset. With other headsets, the sound would normally be muted, but with Shokz, it's actually amplified!
Shokz OpenRun features Bluetooth, making them compatible with, among other things, all Garmin watches with a built-in music player.
