The adapter is 100% compatible with the one that originally came with the notebook. Your laptop is always charged with the right amount of power thanks to the pre-defined Power Delivery profiles. The charger communicates with your laptop to select the most effective charging profile. This makes it possible to use the adapter also to charge a smartphone or tablet with USB-C connection.
This notebook adapter works with Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, which is more efficient, smaller, lighter and less energy consuming than traditional silicon chargers.
