Internet radio with DAB+

DAB+ lets you listen to the radio digitally. Because the signal is digital, you don’t hear any noise as is common with an analogue FM signal. The sound quality its biggest selling point. Furthermore, more information can be sent via a digital signal, enabling you to receive information about the music track or radio station. You can also search for your radio stations by name instead of frequency.

Spotify Connect

Spotify Connect provides a stream directly from the internet to the internet radio using Wi-Fi. The smartphone only serves as a remote control. You do not have to use your smartphone’s Bluetooth®, which is often lacking in sound quality. In addition, there is no interruption due to any incoming calls or messages. It allows you to use the smartphone for other purposes. Alternatively, you can simply switch it off to enjoy your music without any interruptions.

Bluetooth® 5.0 reception and transmission

The Lenco DIR-141WD has Bluetooth® 5.0 that can receive and send. This internet radio receives connection through Bluetooth® when you stream your tracks from your smartphone, laptop or tablet. Connect your wireless Bluetooth® headphones and listen to your favourite radio program undisturbed.

AirMusic app

The Lenco DIR-141WD works with the AirMusic app, which allows you to control your internet radio with your smartphone. Think of streaming via Spotify, Google Play Music, Rdio, Deezer, TuneIn, etc. The app is easy to use and displays information on the songs being played in the app.

Clear 6 cm/2.4 inch colour display

When the provider offers it, this DAB+ internet radio shows much more information than the traditional FM radio. Think, for example, of information about the song that’s being played, the radio station, the sports match that’s in progress or the current weather. The Lenco DIR-141WD can also be used as an alarm clock. With its dual alarm, snooze function and dimmable screen, this radio is ideal for the bedroom. In standby, the time is shown by default. This internet radio has many functions and is easy to operate with the included remote control (two AAA batteries are also excluded). For example, there are 250 preferred channels to program. Additionally, the Lenco DIR-141WD has a built-in sleep timer. The radio switches off automatically at a pre-set time. Very handy if you leave home or go to sleep at fixed times.
