It is possible to put soil and fertilizer directly in the greenhouse since the greenhouse has a bottom. This makes it easier to work with your new greenhouse. A good tip is to cut holes in the bottom of the greenhouse, if you are planting directly into it, so that the soil can breathe and it does not get too moist. It is also possible to use the greenhouse as capillary irrigation by putting pots in the greenhouse and water in the bottom.
