Elma ACT612 Battery Tester Product Description: Elma ACT612 is a new smart battery tester for easy and quick testing of the capacity in 6 & 12V sealed lead-acid batteries, GEL batteries, and car batteries. The instrument performs a 20-hour capacity test in 20 seconds, with readings of battery voltage and capacity directly in Ah. The instrument can perform tests continuously without requiring a cooling-down period. The instrument is suitable for cars, motorcycles, alarm systems, UPS systems, telecommunications equipment, emergency power supplies, tools etc. It is usually recommended to recharge or replace the battery when the capacity falls below 65%. A voltmeter can only measure voltage and not the capacity of the battery. This new battery tester solves this problem by measuring both voltage and capacity within seconds. Results are displayed on the built-in LCD display. The tester warns against polarity reversal of wires.
