P-touch Editor Software
Mit der P-touch-Editor Software verfügen Sie über diverse Funktionen, die viel Spielraum bei der Gestaltung Ihrer Etiketten bieten. Beispielsweise kann aus vielen ein- und zweidimensionalen Barcode-Protokollen gewählt oder ein Seriendruck aus einer verknüpften Datenbank gestartet werden. Über die Add-In-Funktion können aus den Office-Anwendungen Word, Excel und Outlook Texte in die Software übertragen werden. Die Software ist kostenlos über das Brother Solutions Center herunterladbar. 
Brother Apps
Das Beschriftungsgerät P-touch CUBE Plus ist neben der PC-Nutzung auch zur Nutzung per Smartphone/Tablet vorgesehen. Die Gestaltung der Etiketten erfolgt über zwei Brother Apps, je nach Bedarf. P-touch Design&Print eignet sich optimal zur Beschriftung im privaten Umfeld, z. B. zur Organisation des Zuhauses, für den Garten oder im Home-Office.
iPrint&Label bietet erweiterte Funktionen wie Barcode-Druck, EinfĂĽgen von Kontaktdaten oder Zeit- und Datumsstempel.
Schnittstellen
Zwei Schnittstellen bieten flexible Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Über USB ist die Nutzung per Desktop-Computer oder Laptops möglich. Hierzu ist die P-touch Editor-Software kostenlos über das Brother Solutions Center herunterladbar. Über die Bluetooth-Schnittstelle können Smartphones und Tablets mittels Apps angesteuert werden. Das P-touch CUBE Plus ist auch Apple MFi zertifiziert, wodurch der Anschluss an iPhone/iPad/iPod reibungslos funktioniert. 
Stromversorgung
Im Gerät ist ein Lithium-Ionen Akku integriert, welcher über das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel wieder aufgeladen wird. Neben dem USB-Port Ihres Computers kann auch ein handelsübliches Netzteil mit USB-Ausgang zur Stromversorgung genutzt werden, so dass das P-touch CUBE Plus flexibel an jeder Steckdose mit Strom versorgt werden kann.Verbrauchsmaterial
