The BC09 features a crescendo beep alarm, snooze and backlight function and LCD display with 12-hour and 24-hour setting options, all of which improve the functionality of this clock. DCF (GMT+1) signal Radio Controlled movement for Central European Time Zone. (This covers most of Central and Western Europe, including Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Northern Italy, etc). The radio controlled function can be switched off and the clock can be manually set for use in those countries where the radio controlled signal cannot be registered by the clock.
