Durch das LGA1700 Montagekit ist der Freezer i13X und Freezer i13X CO mit Intels neuen Alderlake Prozessoren kompatibel. Auch wenn sich Sockel und Heatspreader im Vergleich zum Vorgänger vergrößert haben, wurde die CPU-Die Oberfläche reduziert und verbleibt weiterhin zentriert. Die Direct Touch Heatpipes des Freezer 13 X (CO) decken diesen Bereich vollständig ab.
