AC car charger, type 2 outlet, wall-mounted IP54, 22kW, 32A/380-415VAC, MID-approved, RFID, Bluetooth, 4G, Ethernet, WiFI, display, APP compatible Compact and future-proof wall-mounted AC charger for electric cars.
The charger has a type 2 outlet, which fits the charging cable that all plug-in hybrid and electric cars in Europe have in the trunk.
Via a free app for both Apple and Android, the customer has the ability to control the charger's functions. Examples of functions include starting, stopping and viewing the status of the charging session, setting up time intervals at which you want the charging to start and stop, and the ability to update the charger with new functions.
The installer has a special app that enables more advanced settings, such as permanently limiting the maximum power of the charger.
The charger also has an RFID reader, which enables user authorization via RFID card. It is possible to link multiple RFID cards to the same charger, or for the same RFID card to be used on multiple chargers in a network.
1 RFID card is included with each charger - more can be purchased as accessories.
The charger is MID-approved, which is a requirement if you want to sell electricity to others. There is also a display on the charger that shows the status and consumption for the charging session in question.
You can communicate with the charger via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G and Bluetooth. When connecting to the ABB AC cloud via the internet, the user will be able to see information about the charger via a browser. The connection to the ABB cloud also opens up advanced load management, which can be tailored to the existing installation.
The charger has a maximum charging power of 22 kW/32 A at 415 V. This means that an electric car with a 40 kWh battery can be charged in approx. 2 hours if it supports 22 kW charging.
Please note that it is always the car that determines how much power can be charged.
The charger has built-in detection of smooth DC fault currents and deactivates if the fault current exceeds 6 mA. There is therefore no requirement for a type B RCD, but only type A.
