Sunlu PLA High-Speed Olive is designed for fast FDM printing with smooth surfaces and well-defined details. It supports printing speeds of up to 100 mm/s under standard conditions and is formulated to handle overhangs effectively, with angles below 70° achievable without supports in suitable conditions. Its rapid cooling characteristics help maintain clean prints at higher speeds, while the olive finish gives models a subdued, distinctive appearance. The filament is suitable for projects where shorter print times, reduced support use, and a clean surface are important.
Its modified material structure improves the handling of overhangs. At angles below 70°, supports can be omitted in suitable printing conditions, reducing material consumption as well as the preparation and finishing work required for more complex models. This makes the material particularly useful for designs with pronounced overhangs and varied geometry.
The filament also has a high crystallization temperature and rapid curing characteristics. Sunlu states that heat dissipation efficiency is increased by up to 180%, allowing the material to cool faster during printing and reducing the tendency for material to accumulate around the nozzle. This helps maintain cleaner results when using higher speeds or dynamic print settings.
Sunlu PLA High-Speed Olive is designed to work with most FDM 3D printers and uses a low-temperature printing process. The olive color gives finished models a muted, natural appearance, while the material's speed and cooling characteristics make it suitable for efficient production of both functional and decorative parts.
