Elegoo PLA Filament - Bronze

ELEGOO PLA Bronze is designed for creators who want the aesthetic of metal without the complexity of metal printing. The bronze effect comes from finely dispersed pigments that produce a subtle metallic sheen across surfaces while maintaining PLA’s forgiving print characteristics: low warpage, good layer adhesion and easy bed stick. Typical print parameters start around 190–220°C for the nozzle, 40–60°C for the heated bed (if used), and print speeds of 30–60 mm/s depending on part complexity. Enable active part cooling for sharp details and reduce cooling on larger sections to improve interlayer bonding.

Parts printed with Bronze PLA show a satin-to-metallic finish that responds well to light sanding, gentle polishing or a thin clear coat to deepen the luster. Because the pigment is surface-focused, minimal post-processing (light sanding with fine grit, then a soft polish or lacquer) highlights the metal effect without hiding fine detail. Mechanical properties are similar to standard PLA—stiff and dimensionally stable—so Bronze PLA is ideal for display items, props, ornamental housings and small decorative fixtures rather than high-temperature structural parts.

Quality control includes precise diameter tolerance (1.75 mm ±0.02 mm) and careful winding to avoid tangles. The spool design facilitates storage and use; three spool-view holes make it easy to check remaining filament. For best results, store the spool in a dry place and dry before printing if it has absorbed moisture.
