The cage securely attaches to the camera using dual 1/4"-20 screws (bottom and side) and a side locating block, while multiple silicone pads prevent scratches and ensure a snug fit. It maintains full access to buttons, card slots, the screen, and the battery compartment.

Featuring SmallRig's patented "HawkLock" quick release system, it supports one-touch self-locking for rapid accessory assembly and disassembly without the need for further tightening. H21 NATO rail interfaces on the top and both sides allow for quick attachment of top handles (ID 5632, 4483, 3766), side handles (5633, 4485), monitor mounts (ID 4487), or magic arms (ID 4489).
