The instrument is designed to easy and quick, test of LAN cable installations. The instrument can test for short circuits, interruptions, crossed pairs, reversed pairs and split pairs. The instrument is light and handy. Test result is displayed using a 14 segment LED display and 8 LEDs. Cable tester is equipped with a protection circuit that prevents damage to the instrument, if you mistakenly select the telephone instead of the data connector.
