Die HPE HDR InfiniBand- und Ethernet-Adapter wurden für Kunden konzipiert, die HPC-Systeme (High Performance Computing) mit ihren HPE ProLiant XL und HPE ProLiant DL Gen10 und Gen10 Plus Servern im Rechenzentrum bereitstellen. Die HPE InfiniBand HDR/HDR100- und Ethernet-Adapter sind als Stand-up-Karten oder im Formfaktor OCP 3.0 mit 1 oder 2 Anschlüssen erhältlich. In Kombination mit HDR InfiniBand-Switches liefern sie geringe Latenz und eine Bandbreite von bis zu 200 Gbit/s – ideal für leistungsorientierte Server- und Datenspeicher-Clusteranwendungen im HPC-Bereich und in Rechenzentren von Großunternehmen.
Die HDR InfiniBand- und Ethernet-Adapter für HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus Server basieren auf standardmäßiger Mellanox ConnectX-6-Technologie.
Die HDR InfiniBand- und Ethernet-Adapter sind jetzt im Formfaktor OCP 3.0 verfügbar und unterstützen den gemeinsam genutzten HPE iLO Netzwerkanschluss im Ethernet-Modus.
Geringe Latenz, InfiniBand-Konnektivität mt hoher Bandbreite
- HPE HDR InfiniBand-Adapter bieten eine Bandbreite von bis zu 200 Gbit/s und Latenzzeiten von unter einer Mikrosekunde für anspruchsvolle HPC-Workloads.
- Die HPE InfiniBand HDR100 Adapter zusammen mit HDR-Switches und HDR-Kabeln bezwecken eine vereinfachte Infrastruktur, indem die Anzahl der erforderlichen Switches für eine bestimmte 100-Gbit/s-InfiniBand-Fabric reduziert wird.
- HPE HDR InfiniBand-Adapter werden auf den HPE Apollo XL und HPE ProLiant DL Gen10 und Gen10 Plus Servern unterstützt.
Auslagerungsmechanismen
- HPE HDR InfiniBand-Adapter umfassen mehrere ausgelagerte Engines, die für eine geringe CPU-Last sorgen und somit den Durchsatz erhöhen und die Kommunikation beschleunigen.
