Der Vigor2962 ist ein performanter Dual-WAN Router und verfügt über vier konfigurierbare Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) WAN/LAN Ports, darunter ein 2,5 GbE Port, ein SFP/GbE-Kombi-Port sowie zwei herkömmliche GbE Ports. Der Vigor2962 verbessert durch duales WAN den Lastausgleich und gestattet Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten für mögliche Failover-Scenarien, wie beispielsweise einen Internetverbindungsausfall. Dadurch wird u.a. die Internet-Stabilität Ihres Unternehmens erhöht.Dabei wird auch Hardware-Redundanz mit hoher Verfügbarkeit zur Verfügung gestellt, um Single-Point-of-Failure zu vermeiden und der Vigor2962 unterstützt dabei Hot-Standby sowie den Active-Standby-Mode. Dies bedeutet, dass innerhalb von kürzester Zeit ein Failover erkannt und automatisch behoben werden kann.Zusätzlich ist der Router auch in der Lage bis zu 200 gleichzeitige VPN-Tunnel für Ihre Zweigstellen, Homeoffice-Mitarbeiter o.ä. zur Verfügung zu stellen und ist somit auch in den umfangreichsten Netzwerkumgebungen sofort einsatzbereit.Das Gerät wird in einem Gehäuse aus Metall geliefert und ist ganz einfach auch in einem 19 Zoll Patch-Schrank montierbar.

Delivery times
